iPhone 13 Pro Max pallet, It might not be Apple’s top-tier phone anymore, but the iPhone 13 Pro Max remains a strong choice if you can find it for a good price. Replaced in the 2022 line-up by the iPhone 14 Pro Max, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is not officially sold by Apple anymore – however you’ll still spot it for sale through certain sites and retailers. It’s only a year old and it remains an excellent device with plenty to offer. It might not be the best iPhone anymore, but if it drops to a tempting price in a sale like Black Friday then it will offer a lot of skills.

Apple’s Max version of the 13 Pro is a big device. Like, really big. The 6.7-inch screen makes for a phone that requires two hands for comfortable use and the boxy, squared-off design feels sharp. More so than with any other iPhone 13 model, I much prefer using the Pro Max with a softer case. It’s heavy too. Taking it out of the box it was noticeably heavier than the already hefty iPhone 12 Pro Max, though it’s the same weight as the new iPhone 14 Pro Max.

But, this is forgivable given that it’s being targeted at people who want a big phone. If you don’t, the iPhone 13 Pro has a near-identical feature set and is much smaller. There’s also the iPhone 14 Pro, which retains a smaller footprint. If you’re even thinking about the Pro Max you know the benefits, and drawbacks, of the size. There are reasons why this is heavier than before. The battery, which I will delve into a lot, is larger and once you’ve read my thoughts on that you’ll probably take those extra few grams. The camera module is also larger and again, the benefits are worth it based on my time with the phone.While it might not be the most ergonomic phone, there’s no doubting it’s gorgeous.
